In order to get a picture of this little girl I practically have to do back flips or I have to wait for the perfect moment to sneak up on her. Flip this picture upside down and you'll see the original photo(a result of my sneakiness). All I want is to just capture my beautiful little girl and her pretty green eyes that sparkle in the sunlight. I don't care if I have to do it in an upside down round about sort of way.

I Heart the Beach!
She Thinks Like Her Mother
This morning AVJ asked me if I would take the flower off her badge. I told her no because it was a cute flower badge now. She got all grouchy about it, but then she used her little imagination and made something she really likes now.

Maybe she should start her own blog...ha ha

upcycle t-shirt dress

(it's the one on the left...i'll let Target take credit for the grey one)
At first, I tried to make a one piece dress out of the pink shirt I bought at Walgreen's. I goofed up the neck and arm holes (that's what I get for trying to free hand it!). The neck was WAAAYYY to big and the arm holes were just barely to small. So...I chopped the top off and started over. I grabbed a black shirt I snagged and the dollar store and traced a tank top, sewed it all together and topped it off with some cute flowers. Anyway, here' s the finished project. Getting this picture was like getting teeth pulled...for all three of us. I'm just glad I caught a smile!

Strawbabies!
I've had these strawberry plants all spring and summer long. Right now there are only just a few plants, but before you know it I'll have a cute little strawberry patch right in my own front yard! YAY! Thus far they've only yielded dime sized berries and I've just let the girls pick them. And, I was a little bummed. But, just a few days ago, I was so excited to see that there were berries that were actually worth eating... quarter sized ones! I gobbled them up, but not before I took a picture. :) Don't they look tasty? They were so yummy.
