Lately my little AVJ has been a little HEADBAND crazy. Well...she's a little hair thing crazy lately(wearing 10 hair clips at the same at some point in the day), but especially headbands. Anyway, I found this lady's SUPER CUTE headbands and a tutorial. I'm trying it TODAY! It's gonna be so cute with my girls Easter Dresses.

OH! Look at these little pretties! I got the idea here at The DIY Dish. I personally think the people on Studio 5 are just a touch annoying, but they always have cute stuff on their show. Anyway, there are two different flowers on the video, but the part where they show you these kind of flowers is toward the end of the video. I thought it was such a cute flower and it'd be way cute for a hair clip. I used a candle, some tulle, a jewel, and a little matching felt for the back. They were SUPER QUICK AND EASY! I did manage to burn a big whole in the middle of one of my flowers on accident and I burnt my fingernail...oh well what do I need a fingernail for anyway? Its hard to pay attention with 2 crazy girls running around. Maybe I should do this kind of stuff at night?

So...at I Y Faces they are doing a constructive feedback day and I want in on it! I missed out last time because I didn't realize there were only 40 people allowed!


Anyway, I really love this photo. And, while I can take a decent picture, and "fix" it in Photoshop Elements 7, I really don't know what to do with the camera to make it so I don't have to "fix" it if I don't want to.
What are your thoughts? Let me have it!

*forgot to mention what bugs me...the pictures seems to ...I don't know, have a little bit of a purple to it. also, i like photos that are really bright and clear how do I get that look? Do I need to just break down and go get a better lens?*

So, I went JoAnn yesterday. Just looking for nothing in particular. I found these funny little lip buttons and knew I had to put them on a little felt shamrock. But, I didn't make it big enough to put a hair clip on the back and...I felt like it needed a little something else. So, I went to Target this morning and saw some rainbow socks for $1, cut them up and made a yo-yo to put on the back. Pay no attention to the quality of the picture..I had to go where the light was. What do you think?

Just a little snap from our visit to the zoo last week. The weather was soooo nice we couldn't stand to NOT go to the zoo!

SPRING IS COMING!

It was so nice yesterday, I had to get the girls outside for some pics of their new spring time dresses. Big sister wasn't so cooperative. I got a couple pictures of her running away and that's about it.

Right now it's 50 degrees outside, and I'm sweating to death in the window. Isn't that lovely?!

I Heart Faces: Hilarious Outtakes

Well...I think the only hilarious/semi-hilarious outtakes I have are from my Hawaii trip. Coincidentally, I've been craving the sand, sunshine, and waves. Whaaaa hah haah...I want to be there RIGHT NOW!

My husband, nephews, and Brother/Sister-in-law getting drenched by a huge wave...laughing my head of while this picture was taken. They were looking for shells, little crabs and such when this mondo wave crashed against the lava.

Below: My husband diving head first for a football. He and his brother's loved throwing the ball into the waves and diving for them.

I know this wave looks pretty big but...my nephews are only like 4 feet tall :)
