The Two Love Birds

Just look at these two cute little love birds! And I thought the animals didn't get twitter pated till Spring time! Look at her skin! Not a blemish in site! She's like a little porcelain doll! I'm so jealous! Anyway, my awesome mommy took these with a point and shoot...yeah...she's got skills! The groom and bride to be (little bro and future sis-in-law) let me edit these for them.

My Tiny Dancer

My tiny dancer was supposed to have a fun holiday party for her dance class, but it was cancelled due to this BLASTED weather! Snow and ice EVERYWHERE! I spent a good 2 hours making cute little hair clips for her present to give(she has one of them in her hair...isn't it just the cutest!). Good thing they are still having the party when we come back in January! Anyway, she was all dressed up with nowhere to go, so I whipped out the camera and did a photo shoot in the dining room. She was so happy! Awe...isn't she sweet?

I Heart Pet Faces

This is one of I think maybe...oh...five photos I have of our cat. I should totally take more. She'd be such a willing model; all I'd have to do is put out a big white sheet and she'd come running! Isn't she pretty?

Apparently...We Are Open for Business!

So, a few days ago, I got this email from my dentist office saying that they were going to be apart of the Northville First Friday Art Walk (the Mr. and I had been planning on going to this for a while by the way). And, they had selected the artists that they would be featuring. Well...I scrolled down through and noticed "Cortnie's Photography." I said to myself,"Hey! Somebody spells their name the same way I do! I've gotta check this out!" Low and behold it was a direct link to MY BLOG! At first I was a little shocked! Nobody had said anything to me...can they do that? I sent my hubby an email all worried and he calmed me down saying that he had entered a photo of mine but it was just a little 8x10 and it was no big deal. WELL...it was a BIG DEAL!! We arrived at my dentist's office grabbed some free treats and as I looked around the office I notice something behind the front desk! 10 HUGE framed photos and business cards to go with them! I've never seen anything of mine printed. I was a little overwhelmed...he did all that for me! I cried...he's so sweet. I just got done crying so pardon the weird reaction I have on this video! haha

I think I'm still a little bit in shock. But, give me a call or send me an email prices, because apparently, I'm open for business! Yay!

My hubby was planning to come with the kiddos, but ditched out last minute because it was WAY TOO COLD for my tiny honeys. Travis, if you have a walk in the summer, they'll be there! We made plans to do this session up in the mountains, but the weather didn't cooperate. Sooo...we had to squeeze it in at his house (down the streets from my folks). They turned out great ! Good thing the house is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! And in a great neighborhood I might add ;)

Don't You Roll Your Eyes at Me!

The theme this week at I Heart Faces is SMIRK. Here ya go!

Every time I see this picture, I think of movie Bill Cosby Himself. I used to watch it with my little brother. And we'd always use quotes from the movie like "Don't you roll your eyes at me! I'll roll your head on the floor!" and "I'm going to shoot you in the face with a bazooka!"(just joking of coarse) Ahh the memories! Now that I have kids I find myself wanting to say these to my kids, just out of habit. I think I'll hold my tongue. They probably aren't very nice to say to toddlers ha ha.

AVJ's First Time to School Picture (for realz this time)

AVJ took mercy on her dear old mommy and let me do another speed shoot to make up for the lost work. What a sweet heart huh? Isn't she gorgeous? So scary that she'll be in kindergarten next year.

I'm still a little sad because I really did love the shots I got with her yesterday, but I get what I get and I won't throw a fit.
