I HEART FACES: WE ARE FAMILY

This is me and my little sweety AVJ. This picture makes me feel like I have some pretty big shoes to fill. She looks up to me so much and I only hope I can be half as wonderful as she thinks I am. Head over to I Y Faces to see all the other cute families.

The Orange Orchid

Orange orchids represent enthusiasm, fascination, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction, success, encouragement, and stimulation. I should say so! I'm sorry to say that I started this stinkin project almost a year ago! I've been to Hawaii a few times in the last couple years, and I kept seeing all the beautiful Hawaiian Style Quilts(for some examples of the real deal click HERE). I REALLY wanted one, but the good ones in a queen size are over $2k! I thought...I could do one all by myself! It'll be a cinch! Ha Ha! Well, the actual sewing is really easy. It just TAKES FOREVER! All you do is make a little design (like a giant paper snowflake), and then do a blind stitch all the way around every edge! PIECE A CAKE! I figure if I write it down, I'll just have to finish it! So, soon if will be finished, and it'll be marvelous!

These cute little stinkers will be the end of me! Poor AVJ has the pukes tonight. I feel so bad for her. She's a trooper though. ANYWAY! I'm using these cute little shots to make some valentine cards this year. Aren't they just adorable?!

Oh...I couldn't pass up an opportunity to to show off another picture of my beautiful cousin. I added some cute little flower overlays. Not sure how I like the flowers, but the picture itself is nice. Beautiful isn't she!

Another for my Aunties

WOW! Let me tell you! Caleb was a flippin snowflake magnet. There were a gagillion teeny tiny little snowflakes all over the top of his head and on his shoulders (thank goodness for the clone stamping tool!). But its done and I think they turned out great. I was glad he suprised me with that cute little smile. I wasn't sure I'd be able to get one out of him!
