Out in the Sticks

We went on a little road trip last week. My Brother-in-law and his family came out from Utah and we met them in Nauvoo, IL. For those who don't know anything about Nauvoo, it's a town that was settled by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and named by Joseph Smith. On the drive out there...ahh...beautiful rolling corn /soy bean fields of the midwest.

Walking through historic Nauvoo. This is next to the black smith where they keep the oxen and the horses. I just had to stop and snap a few.

This is the Nauvoo Temple. Isn't it so beautiful. And, dare I say even more stunning inside! This is one of my most favorite temples.

What beautiful pictures! We went to Nauvoo at the beginning of July and loved it. The temple is gorgeous and your picture of it is just stunning.

Oh, and I thougth the pic of your hair curled was really pretty. I use my flat iron to curl E's hair sometimes too.
